Dr. Sethi is a founder of GMH Solutions. As a medical psychiatrist at the University Health Network (UHN) in Toronto and a Lecturer at the University of Toronto, Dr. Sethi leads with a commitment to advancing innovative mental health treatments.

Currently serving as the Medical Lead of the Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) program at UHN, Dr. Sethi brings a unique expertise in neurostimulation, including ECT and rTMS, and psychedelic-assisted therapies.

His academic journey began in the Department of Psychiatry at Western University, followed by a specialized fellowship in Psycho-Oncology and end-of-life care at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto. Driven by a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and value-based care, he earned a Master of Science in Clinical Service Operations from Harvard University.

Dr. Sethi’s clinical and academic pursuits are centered on pioneering treatments for refractory mood disorders exploring cutting-edge therapies like ketamine and psilocybin. Through his work, he is committed to reshaping the landscape of mental health care to be both compassionate and transformative for those with complex mental health needs.

Linsay is a dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with extensive expertise in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), committed to delivering accessible, high-quality, and holistic care to individuals facing mood disorders and complex mental health challenges. Her approach integrates clinical excellence with compassionate, evidence-based practices, ensuring that every patient receives the personalized support they need.

Linsay's professional journey in TMS began at the Krembil Research Institute, where she trained under leading experts, establishing a robust understanding of TMS applications for treating depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, BPD, and other mental health conditions. Her experience in a research environment instilled in her a commitment to precision, safety, and the implementation of rigorous treatment protocols, reinforced by continuous data monitoring to optimize patient outcomes. Transitioning into private practice, Linsay advanced to Clinical Manager and Director of Operations at TMS Clinics of Canada, where she refined her leadership skills, trained and supervised TMS teams, and developed patient-centred protocols tailored to individual needs. This experience shaped her vision of effective, collaborative TMS treatment, prioritizing patient advocacy and superior care.

Committed to remaining at the forefront of neurostimulation therapies, Linsay actively participates in Clinical TMS Societies and collaborates with field experts to enhance her practice. Her dedication to setting high standards extended into her tenure as TMS Training Course Project Manager at Solstice Training Institute, a Public Benefit Corporation, where she played a pivotal role in creating a comprehensive TMS training and certification program. By collaborating with medical leaders and researchers, Linsay developed detailed modules and instructed technician training courses to bridge gaps in TMS knowledge and practice globally and ensure consistent, top-tier patient care.

Dr. Amer Burhan, MD, is a co-founder of Precision Cognitive and Neuropsychiatry Institute (PCNI), a forward-thinking organization devoted to the accessible and evidence-based application of mental health and neurocognitive technologies in mental health care. As a Geriatric and Interventional Psychiatrist, Dr. Burhan brings over 21 years of clinical expertise to his work, blending his roles as a medical expert, educator, researcher, and leader to drive transformative change in patient care.

A seasoned clinician-researcher, Dr. Burhan’s focus centers on treatment-resistant depression and the use of novel interventions, including brain stimulation and ketamine, to provide relief for this challenging condition. He is also recognized for his expertise in cognitive disorders, with a keen interest in exploring the intersections between treatment-resistant depression and cognitive health. In his research role, Dr. Burhan serves as the site Principal Investigator on several clinical trials examining intravenous ketamine as a therapeutic option for mental health disorders, alongside his active involvement in trials targeting cognitive conditions.

Dr. Burhan holds an Endowed Research Chair in Applied Mental Health and is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Dr. Aturan Shanmugalingam, BMBS, FRCPC, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and a Psychiatrist at St. Joseph’s Health Care London. With a focus on advancing mental health education and patient care, Dr. Shanmugalingam brings a wealth of expertise in teaching, clinical practice, and program development, ensuring accessible, evidence-based psychiatric care.

In clinical practice, Dr. Shanmugalingam leads the Neuropsychiatry Clinic at the Parkwood Acquired Brain Injury Ambulatory Program, specializing in treating neuropsychiatric sequelae of traumatic brain injuries. His dedication to improving patient outcomes extends to his research contributions, including systematic reviews on non-invasive brain stimulation and its impact on cognition in rehabilitation settings.

Committed to fostering the next generation of mental health professionals, Dr. Shanmugalingam actively mentors residents and medical students, emphasizing holistic education and professional development. Sven Pal, MD, MSc, is an experienced Pediatric Surgeon who has been a Director for Healthcare Quality at one of the largest hospitals in northern Croatia for more than 3 years. With a Master’s in Clinical Service Operations from Harvard University, Dr. Pal is a dedicated advocate for advancing healthcare standards through strategic quality management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practices. He brings over a decade of expertise in pediatric surgery, healthcare quality assurance, and education to his roles, supporting both clinical excellence and continuous improvement in patient care.

As a Director of Healthcare Quality and Safety, Dr. Pal managed key initiatives to optimize clinical processes, enhance patient outcomes, and promote good clinical practices across his institution. His work includes leading initiatives in key system optimization with a strategic approach to the utilization of resources, infection control, antimicrobial stewardship, patient safety, and consulting on process improvement projects in healthcare settings, alongside his role as project coordinator for establishing a modern palliative care center. This facility aims to provide holistic, multidisciplinary care, combining a day hospital, stationary care services, a simulation center, and an educational space to foster community awareness and support for palliative patients. 

In addition to his hospital leadership, Dr. Pal is an active educator, holding roles at the University of Rijeka, University North and Polytechnic of Međimurje, where he imparts his knowledge to the next generation of medical professionals.

Dr. Pal’s expertise extends to research and development, with contributions as a QA and R&D consultant and project coordinator for high-impact initiatives. Among his notable projects is the VR-CareNect project, aimed at leveraging virtual reality for mental health support in palliative care, and his leadership in establishing national guidelines on surgical antibiotic prophylaxis.

Dr. Pal is also actively engaged in public health as a national advocate for antimicrobial resistance awareness and serves as a medical advisor and coordinator in sports medicine, including his role as team physician for Croatia’s U-19 national football team. His multifaceted work continues to shape the healthcare quality and pediatric surgery landscape in Croatia, driven by a commitment to innovation and patient-centred care.

Terri Currie, BSW, RSW, is a dedicated Neuro Clinic Manager based in Cambridge, Ontario, committed to providing accessible, evidence-based mental health treatments. With a strong foundation in psychology and social work from the University of Waterloo, Terri has established herself as a leader in delivering advanced care through Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and neurofeedback therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD, specifically tailored to the first responder community.

Terri’s clinical focus is complemented by her specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), encompassing evidence-based interventions for trauma, anxiety, depression, and nightmares. Stacey D’Angelo is a dedicated pharmacist with over a decade of diverse experience in healthcare, specializing in deprescribing and pharmacogenomics (PGx). With a passion for optimizing medication use through personalized medicine, Stacey is committed to helping patients and healthcare providers achieve better health outcomes.

A graduate of the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy in 2012, Stacey’s career has spanned various impactful roles, including Clinical Pharmacist in long-term care, Director of Pharmacy Excellence for a leading pharmacy banner group, and Board Director for the Ontario Pharmacists Association. Her entrepreneurial drive led her to establish a compounding pharmacy and integrative clinic, where she combined her expertise in specialty compounding, sexual health, diabetes care, and hormone therapy with patient-centered care.

Since 2017, Stacey has been integrating pharmacogenomics into her practice and, in 2021, launched her private practice, Your Simple Health, to provide personalized deprescribing services. She has also pursued additional training in motivational interviewing and other clinical areas to enhance her ability to support patients holistically.

Dr. Xena Al Qahtani is a pediatric neurologist specializing in movement disorders, trained at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She brings a distinctive blend of clinical excellence, research innovation, and humanitarian commitment to the Global Mental Health team. With a Master of Science in Clinical Service Operations from Harvard Medical School, she exemplifies transformative leadership and a steadfast dedication to population health.

As a faculty member and neurology investigator at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Al Qahtani leads critical research on Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood, Craniofacial Dystonia, and X-linked dystonia. Her work also addresses the neurobehavioral overlap between movement disorders and mood disorders in conditions such as ADHD, Autism, and Tourette’s syndrome—bridging the gap between neurology and mental health.

Her pioneering research has reshaped the global understanding of neurological conditions. She identified 26 novel gene mutations in epileptic encephalopathies—findings cited over 80 times by researchers across 30 countries—laying the foundation for improved genetic classification and personalized treatment strategies. Her commitment to integrative care further enriches her clinical insights, incorporating brain-body coherence into her practices. As a brain education leader, she champions holistic mental well-being and resilience approaches.

Her extensive training includes Mental Health First Aid, Situational Awareness and Verbal De-escalation, and Courage to Lead, equipping her with the tools to navigate complex healthcare environments empathetically and precisely. Over the years, Juliana has gained significant experience as an Operations Manager, Patient Flow Coordinator, and most recently, an Administrative Coordinator, where her leadership and organizational skills have consistently driven improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.

Beyond her professional commitments, Juliana is deeply invested in her community. As an active volunteer in the Portuguese community, she dedicates her time to fostering cultural enrichment and support services. She also serves on the Board of Directors at a Portuguese Community Centre, contributing her strategic vision and advocacy to advance the centre’s mission.
